Hi guys.
Im 21 and have been training since I was 16. Every year gained some size and then dieted off the fat. But everytime I do my body seems to change the way its storing fat. The increase in muscular size has meant that I've become vascular in the expected places (forearms, calves, quads). Slowly my body has stopped holding fat in certain areas, those difficult places for some like the hamstrings and its changed to storing more fat in the lower back and upper thighs.
Has anyone else found over time they start to store fat differently? I've heard that when you get older your body stores fat around the abdomen to protect the internal organs but didnt think I'd start to see a shift at 21.
Any thoughts on this?
