Happened twice. The first time, I got my heart broken and lost a friend from my feelings expressed and her inability to return them. It was a rough time. The second time I got married and we have an awesome life. In either case, I'd let her know as long as you KNOW.

This is what I would do. I would sit down with her some place where you both feel comfortable. And then I would just be direct with her. Don't beat around the bush. Just get to the point. Yeh it may very well shock her and she may say she needs some time to process it all. Ok fine. But just get it over with and then let her decide what she wants to do or not. Life is short. Don't waste time.
