Have you heard of Turkesterone?

Hey what all did you notice from this? I’m a huge TN fan and have seen the lab brand of stuff on there. Wanted to give it a shot but with all the polarized reviews of Turk based products I’ve always held off and stuck to their WPI and amino products.

Strength gains and recomp at 4 pills in AM and 4 PM. Works like a charm.

Fair enough but I don't understand how you can judge actual turkesterone from a product that includes 4 ingredients. Granted turkesterone is one of it's main ingredients but you may just respond well to all of it's ingredients combined. You could respond really well to Apigenin. This could be a mute point if you have used turkesterone by itself but I figured I would post as you only mentioned 1 product that isn't just turkesterone. Have you used turkesterone by itself?

The stuff has been around for awhile. I remember spending a few hundred dollars this stuff and hmb in the early 2000s as a natural. I would say at best it can produce similar strength and muscle gains as creatine but with less water retention. If you're still cycling then i'll say money better spent elsewhere. However, if you want to come off or low dose trt, then maybe it's worthwhile to try. It'll probably end up costing as much as a aas cycle to get a good dose.

No, I have not. I have used Apigenin by itself by Swanson. I took it with bioperine and a fatty meal. Couldn’t tell anything from using it so take that for what it’s worth.

I've gone through multiple bottles of A-Bolic 4 and do feel like I've noticed some slight strength and endurance boost from it at 6 caps per day. I also took a break and tried some sketch brand of Turkesterone off Amazon by itself, going to 2 grams/day and not noticing anything. The more I've heard lately about Turk (Jeff Nippard vid and Iron Culture Podcast w/ Eric Helms for example) I'm definitely not sold on it being the hottest natty supplement for gains as some would have us believe. As for A-Bolic 4 being worth the cost per month? Eh, not sure. I need to drop it for a good bit and take a hard look at what differences I notice.

Oh for sure, no argument here about expectations. It was actually me seeing some of your posts about A-Bolic that helped convince me to give it a try. Think I'll bump to the full 8 caps/day and see what happens and report back.

In the USA it was circulated on the underground market for a long time, till 2001 when I partnered up with Dr. Zakir Ramazanov and introduced to USA Fitness Industry market as a dietary supplement, under the name of Ecdy-Kito, a bland of Ecdysterone and Humanofort.

Elite Russian and Bulgarian athletes have long used Rhaponticum extract to stimulate muscle growth.

According to Russian researchers the Leuzea extract stimulates muscle protein synthesis by increasing the activity of the polyribosomes. Polyribosomes are the cellular compartments where the actual protein synthesis takes place, the mixture of ecdysterones was found to be responsible for enhancement of muscle protein synthesis. The research shows that the whole extract of Rhaponticum carthamoides containing mixture of levseins possess much superior physiological activity compared with the activity of purified individual constituents (Seifulla 1999).

There are about 120 phyto-ecdysterones known, from more than 80 species of plants. Among more than dozed plant species containing ecdysterones only Rhaponticum carthamoides extract undergone through a complete human clinical trials and phytochemical research. Research pointed out that superior anabolic effect of Rhaponticum carthamoides extract is determined by content of all levseins (ecdysterones) rather than a single 20-beta-ecdysterone, which is abundant in plants outside of Rhaponticum genus.

Beta-ecdysterone, on the other hand, goes directly to the ribosome and increases what is called translation, the rate at which new protein is being made (Syrov et al. 1984).

Regarding Turkesterone, Turkesterone is not bed product, unfortunately most of extracts are contains very low % of standardized extract, most has 0% t0 2% and a few has 10%.
