Just to double check, administering HCG subcutaneous is just as good as IM correct? The box says IM only, but I have read elsewhere that sub-c is also ok.

I have recently been doing a lot of research on HCG and to answer your question, yes, it is ok to shoot HCG SQ. I'm sure the drug would get into your system a little quicker with IM injection, but SQ is just as good. Just don't shoot more than 1 ml at one time into a SQ site.

I find sub. Q to be more comfortable and gives the muscle a break. And yes seems to work just as good.

Even though the manufacturer might say IM, most/all nurses will amdminister subq.

The difference is in absorption rates - IM faster than subQ but we don't really care how fast it absorbs.
