I dont no what others will say but for me if a get a growth
Im going to see a DOC asap

well its not really a wierd growth it looks like my the bottom of my ribcage is puffed out i guess like bloated but idk if i go to the doctors should i tell them im on test?

its deffinatly swollen not really a growth just kind of scary right now

does anything think i could have pulled a muscle which caused swelling?

post a pic, we may be able to help you a little more

If you go to see a doctor, which you should, definitely tell him what you're taking. There is no reason to lie to a doctor, this way he can properly diagnose what he may think is wrong, IF anything is wrong. It's not like you're going to get in trouble, and he needs to know what is going on inside of your body that could have caused it.

Wrong answer.

The doc should be on a need to know basis. If you admit to aas usage, and he notes it in your medical record your insurance can refuse to cover anything they think could be aas related. Possibly even drop you. I would just see what the doc says first then if you feel you need to disclose your use to help with the diagnosis then do so. Or if you have a cool doc then discuss it off the record.

I beg to differ

If you are on a medical plan at work there is very good reason for not tell the doc your on illegal drugs.
You employer many have access to your records ( And most likely does) if they pay some of the premium.
Also , You may not be cover if your illness is a direct fault of your illegal drugs usage.
In the future, If you get injured at work , the attending Doc can request you med records and your insurance company also has those records as well.
You could very well be denied coverage in the future.
The insurance company is looking very hard at trying to find a way to deny your claim
Hell No !
To many ppl can see your records .
You just would have no idea of how many eyes have bee laid on you medical records

I would never tell anyone I’m doing drugs !
Are you crazy ?
If the Doc is worth his salt , he should be able to find out what you problem is through testing and analysis .
When you go to the Doc he is going to diagnose your illness and then prescribe a cure.
You won’t see CSI or Dr House following you around to find out why your ill .
With the exception of the research doctors, no one cares.
It would cost the insurance companies umpteen millions if they had to look for the cause of every illness that hit the exam table
I would surly ask him what does he think was the cause , but that would be the existent of it.
You medical records stay with you until the day you die.

But, ultimately it is your call.

Go see a doctor and tell him what is happening exactly. Don't lie. It can be serious.

Whats not need to know about a growth on your body? That sounds pretty serious to me, and not telling the truth about what is going on can only hurt you, IMO.
For the past 5 years, after every time I finish my AAS, I ALWAYS go to the doctor, let him know what I've done, just to ensure everything is OK and my levels get back to where they should be. Maybe my doctor is cool or somthing, but of the other people I know that go to him, they do the same thing. I haven't been denied coverage or dropped ever. The only thing I think it could possibly affect would be a life insurance policy or something along those lines. If you had some kind fo deficiency and are prescribed GH or test, later on it can come back to haunt you if it is on your record and you get seriously sick, like cancer or any other terminal illnesses. But as far as being denied coverage, I have never heard that to be true.
I'm not trying to be a dick or disagree with anyone, but it's always been like that for me. More importantly, if anything is wrong with this kid, it needs to be attended to the right way.

A doctor can only properly diagnose you if he knows what is going on with you. I have always told my doctor everything whenever I have been on anything.. I give him every detail, exact compound, dosages etc.. If he sees you are holding water like mofo, or your blood pressure is high, or a mariad of the sides that could occur, he could misdiagnose you. All those sides are also symptoms of other serious conditions. You could be getting tests up the poop shoot for no reason other than you are not eating clean with your 500mg of test for example.. If you have an abnormal growth, see the doctor asap and tell him everything. If you lie, you will only be potentially hurting yourself and delaying the recovery if you do have an underlying issue.

Doctors are bound by patient/doctor confidentiality laws. He cannot disclose this information to insurance companies etc. Insurance companies ofter require a pre-coverage medical examination before granting coverage..after that, they are not privy to the details of your medical profile..

OKAY...................

How many people on this board want to step up and say how many people they know pesonally that 500mg's of test has caused a growth like tumor at there ribcage line? Come on fellas!? Go to the doctor, let him look at it. See what his intial thoughts or reactions are. If he has issues diagnosing it, or is perplexed then it may be time to share your use with him.

And i work for an insurance company. They can aquire your records at any time, and deny coverage to anything they deem could have been caused by aas. Or anything the deem unnessacery. Now look at all the misinformation and propoganda that is being spread about aas. Well we won't cover the visit for the flu, it could have been test flu, caused by your illegal drug use. Well we won't cover any blood tests, cuzz you screwed up your hormones yourself. What? blood pressure out of whack?? We won't cover anything related to that due to your use. I'm just saying..........

incorrect
Hippa Laws prevent anyone from checking your medical records without your written consent. It would be illegal for your employer to read your medical records or anyone else for that matter.

The insurance company would have to have on file a signed release of information form. If they somehow obtained patient data without the consent of the patient, they would get their asses sued off if there were any rammifications put into place from unauthorized medical record information.

Read the first two sentences on this page: http://insurance.lovetoknow.com/Medical_Records_Release_Form

"The insurance company would have to have on file a signed release of information form"

They have one on file already.
They always want to know "Why" they are paying a claim.
