Help needed pain relief for MS

BigKiwi, you might also look into medical marijuana. I don't know what the laws are in New Zealand, but over here a few states allow it. I have a co-worker whose brother has MS and is wheelchair bound. She stated that he smokes once a day for his MS. I thought it seemed strange, but I then read a little more about it and I guess it's been prescribed for MS, cancer, and other ailments.

Laws for pot over here are down to fine for posession but still not legal , my dad was actually talking about pot the other day as he had read studies about positive results

Lyme huh? Like a Tick? gawwd I hate those things...what state do you live in? Is there a statistic out there of what state has the worse incidents of Lyme?

I wonder what was going on in 1975 for this disease to appear. I copied and pasted this.


Lyme disease is an infectious illness caused by a bacterium and transmitted mainly through tick bites. The disease was identified in 1975 in a group of children in and around Lyme, Conn. The children showed signs of what initially appeared to be juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Investigators were alerted to the unusually large numbers of these cases in one geographical area and eventually traced the signs and symptoms to their bacterial origins. The condition was named Lyme disease.

Most U.S. cases occur in the Northeast and upper Midwest and along the northern Pacific coast of California, although Lyme disease also occurs elsewhere in the United States. The disease is also found in numerous other parts of the world.
