Hey guys...first I'll say hi and introduce myself. I'm 26 and stand somewhere around 6'3" and 275. I competed in a bb show about a year and a half ago and was wanting to strive for a deadlift and/or squat competition this year but was sidelined with a slightly torn pectoral in June. Anyway now that I'm back in the gym full force I would like to get back to training for a dead/squat competition but realized I have no idea what I'm doing in order to properly train for such an event. I live in the midwest and the goal is to hit an event this summer before August(I coach high school football). Any and all advice on how to train would be appreciated from exercises to diet to anything that would help. Thanks.
