Hi, I am 41 years old and have been on TRT for one year. My Test dose is 135mg (enanthate 110mg + prop 25mg) every Thursday. Since I started my TRT, I have been having hypoglycemia. My A1C always stayed below 4 and average glucose is at 68. No matter how many carbs I eat, how much sugar I eat, it's always low. Prior to my TRT, I had normal blood sugar levels.
My TRT was self prescribed because my test levels were always around the lower end of the range since the time I started testing it 2 years ago and Doctors considered that as Ok. But I felt all the negatives of the low test and after starting TRT, I always had great energy and I could do much more things in life than just staying unenergetic. Here in India, it's extremely hard to convince doctors that I need TRT. So, when I told them that I developed this hypoglycemia after starting TRT, they simply asked me to stop TRT, which I don't want to do.
Now, I started taking HGH for anti-aging purposes. It's 2iu, 4 days on 1 day off then 2 days on one day off and repeat. This schedule makes it 1.5iu per day on average. I am going to check what kind of effect this will have on my sugar levels.
I am getting confused with the conflicting information on HRT and its effects on sugar levels. With my existing hypoglycemia issue, my GH use will make it severe or will it control it? Why TRT is causing hypoglycemia to me? Everyone from Mother's side relatives got diabetes either in their late forties or early fifties and they all had very troublesome life after fifties. I am extremely happy with my TRT and HGH, but I am concerned about this diabetes.
