I bought a pecan pie for my works little easter pot luck going on today.... well i had it sitting in the fridge here at work and i was thinking about it so i was just going to have a piece... well that piece turned into the whole pie. I mean i tried cutting it into neat slices but it didnt work out so i cleaned up the mess by eating it. It was so good i just couldnt stop eating it. I feel bad now im going to show up empty handed....

I hate easter food. At least in my family I do. Its the usual trip to grandma's house which is nice but its always HAM. I hate HAM. Luckily my dad's new wife is mexican and she is brining enchiladas.

We didn't get to eat the full easter dinner either. I guess you can say we splurge on ham. Everlast's mom made some kind of yellow cake with a coconut frosting. We didn't even look at it, but everyone kept talking about how sweet it was. Coconut is not a fav for me, so it was easy to pass up. However, at my aunt's last saturday, my mom baked a pumpkin roll with cream cheese center filling... OMG! I had to keep my distance from it, but I did take the left overs home and freeze them.

So... if you take the yoke out of the Cadbury egg is it fat free?

i worked me ass off for easter damnit. but at least i got to eat all day. gotta love the omlet station at our brunch buffet! and the best part is working got me out of going to my fiancee's mothers house and sitting through her crappy cooking.

Yea, it was friggin hard...

I felt fat just smelling the food.

but I know I have an awesome girlfriend when she sacrificed her easter dinner just so taht i wouldn't be alone eating chicken and olive oil... What a girl!
