What do you guys think about Contrasting showers (for those of you who shower after you workout), where you do periods of cold and then hot.
I first read this in Big Beyond Belief and thought it sounded kind of strange but have recently read it in about 3 or 4 other advanced training articles
I don't know how this would speed muscle recovery? haha but alot of these smart guys are saying it
I tried it tonight for the hell of it. I definately felt more exergized and spruced up. kind of wakes u up. I sometimes kind of just fall into a trance and stand there under the warm water and almost fall a sleep. This HOT/COLD is kind of uncomfortable to do but you do feel good after wards; regardless if it helps recovery. I have no clue if it does.
