How do x-rays detect ampoules and the liquid?

I know the glass is thin but does anyone know if let's say, one amp runs through a machine..........what would the glass and liquid look like?

They actually look like bullets, so for sure the package would get opened.

Not sure but in the past they cannot be detected if they were in your pockets in a walk through detector

The amps may look like bullets but wouldn't a bullet show up differently in an x-ray due to the density differences?

If you covered amps in certain materials like foils, would the machine just see what ever shape the foil was in? What materials have this affect?

I mean, I'm assuming that an amp would look like a clear outline of a bullet whereas an actual bullet would be dark colored maybe?

I'm pretty sure if they saw foil blocks, etc they would search too.

X-ray technology has advanced to the point that they can make different substances show up ijn different colors now. Through computers and graphic the difference in density can be made to show up in red, brown, blue,etc. It is these different colors that alert them to look deeper. Also they can alter the strength of the x-ray to not go all the way through things.
