How does your girl feel about gear?

I am curious to know how many of your wives/girlfriends know about your "lifestyle". For those of us that have not shared certain information, it is becoming increasingly difficult to hide. How does one explain certain side effects: acne, hair growth, etc.?

I would just tell her... It's never good to hide things. If they catch you hiding one thing they will think that you hide other things and it can be very detrimental to your relationship. If you must hide it though, tell her that you're taking a new supplement (that's legal) and that it has very strong anabolic effects.

I tried that. I said, "I am taking a testosterone booster." Her reply was, "You need to stop taking it. They are having a toxic effect on your body. Your back looks terrible." The subject seems very difficult to explain and help somebody understand where I am coming from. I never wanted to do any explaining in the first place but certain things are obvious, I suppose.

I told my Gf about my lifestyle and she was cool at first but then she started blaming every fight we had on steroids. She would try to tell me that my persoality changed a lot on steroids and i was to blame for every fight.
...I mean most people are consumed by what they read/hear/see on the media and judge steroids by that.

I too have divulged that info to girlfriends past; bad move every time, just imagine it being a convenient club that she could whip out anytime there's a problem.
The trick is to find a gal that wouldn't even find interest in that "facet" of your life. A gal who's not shallow ,materialistic or in need of drama, that’s real hard find if you're muscular, or good looking ,and/or looking "domestically" for a partner. But there's some are out there.
Glad I found one, life is so much better without "Springer" drama.

I lived with my last gf for 3 years and she never knew shit, oh sure I wanted to tell her but just kept thinking about what would she do if we broke up and I kicked her out ( which did happen after 3 years) now I have been thru 3 girls since her none of whom I lived with and am currently seeing someone every weekend, I am sure they are somewhat suspicious but I just tell them its prohormones, but i don't get much acne and always use saw palmetto or hcg, you guys who tell your women must be in it for the long haul, and I would make damn sure that I have got something on them as well.

dude your 100% right, if you break up with the girl she will run strait to the cops..better to say that you have had acne your whole life or some shit....avoid telling her you are on shit! women want the truth but a lot of time they can't handle the truth, and they don't give you the truth either lol.

also i would be careful telling them you are on prohormones Thor, they are banned and something negative could still arise out of that situation.

I was married for 13 years and my ex-wife never found out I was using. It was hard as hell to hide it.
The girl I am with now knows I use. It's just so much better now. Nobody else except my best friend knows.

The right thing to do isn't always the wisest thing to do. If she is just some chic you are seeing and that's all...hell no don't tell her. On the other hand if she is something special and you want her around for a while...then obviously she should know. If she really is someone worth spending your life with she'll understand or at least try to understand.

My girl is wonderful for understanding me and allowing me to show her things that maybe she wouldn't otherwise agree with. I educate her or point her in the right direction to educate herself and she then sees the truth about things and forms her own opinion rather than take the bullshit hype or media's opinion...regardless of what we're talking about.

I've found it to be the best approach...and I've tried several over the years and girlfriends, including hiding it! lol

just think if she was doing some sort of different "lifestyle" that you were unaware of. u would want to know @ it. Tell her, tell her everything. Educate her, her knowledge of the subject won't be what yours is, so whatever she says means nothing until she really knows the details. Of course she will worry, because if she didn't, she doesn't care, but if you are upfront and honest you'll never run into any difficult situations, in which you have to lie to get out of. And believe me, the lying will get you into more trouble then the lifestyle.

IMO, tell them early on, it'll only get worse if hidden then she finds out later and eventually she will find out. Chicks do not like being mislead or lied to. They may eventually forgive but will never forget.
