How lives in Vegas here?

Just wondering how it is to live in. I have a job offer for a permament position but I was never there before. Heard it's a great place to visit, but how is it to live. I image it has to be better the little dumpy state I'm in now.

I live in Vegas and would'nt live anywhere else. The weather,outdoor recreation,close to California,the great gyms,etc. Traffic can be a bitch and you better learn to drive fast if you live out here.Henderson and Summerlin are both nice,I live in Silverado Ranch which is basically Henderson and I almost don't need to leave my area because everthing I need is here. Not sure what you do for living but lots of jobs out here.

I live in So Cal but I am there at least once per month since 3 of my pro's I train live there. It is hot as hell in the summer, cold in the winter and never really nice weather wise. But housing is insanely cheap compared to So Cal, there is everything you will ever need at your fingertips and tons to do. Henderson is very nice and the neighborhoods are clean.

Just moved back to my small town in Florida from there two weeks ago. It's decent but everyone is different. I don't care for the desert with nothing but dirt and sand....and it gets rediculously hot in the summer! EVERYTHING is there and like stated above, you can stay in your own little part of town and never really have to leave....I lived in Sumerlin which is nice. My advise though is to stay away from the things that gave it the name "Sin City" and that can be difficult...I went out there and ended up managing a major strip club and got caught up in everything I said I wouldn't, partying like a rock-star is an understatement! It's a fun place but I never really saw it as reality there and had to come back home to straiten myself out. Best of luck to you.
