IMO, I agree with DC. I think it is nerve damage causing necrosis of the muscle....or atrophy, in that region, probably from site injections. I have a "divot" in my right quad from injecting there so much in the past.

I tried doing some research on the web and can't find out what exactly happened to Jean Pierre ? I know he had a serious leg injury a few years back , but anyone know if he retired ? Pectoralis major tendon(one of its origins is the sternum) rupture or distal rupture of the pectoralis major muscle from bench pressing.I believe from the pics and him saying he had a "fissure" (tear) that it was fixed surgically.
