How to use Lasix for a specific date?

I have a buddy who is doing a photo shoot on Monday (5 days) and has some 20mg diuretics of Lasix. What would be the best protocol to drying out for the shoot?

More specifically is he sodium loading and carb loading or just trying to take some extra water off or wanting to really peel down?

Any chance on dyazide vs lasix?

when taken orally it can pull intra-muscular water as well as sub-q leaving you flat and small...and its dangerous so have pedialite on hand

Aldactone is much better, dyazide is also a great and slightly stronger option.

thursday, friday, saturday you water load, drink so you are urunatung frequently this will start your body flushing...then sunday cut your water back to less than 1 litre for the day, just sipping enough to get your food down.

Dosage is usually every 8 hours, but some go 4 to 6hr

You have to also really evaluate and control your sodium and potassium levels for no cramping on super low water.

I'm sure some vets will add their support here and make some changes.

Please.. Be careful. Aldactone or dyazide is a better choice, and remember lasix will really flatten you out at times

Lasix is all he has on hand. Hes water loading now. Hes not trying to get to 4% or anything, just wants to pull a little water out to look a bit better. Hes probably 7.5% now.

Lasix is a true nightmare drug if you fuck it up, the cramps are horrible and the headache's are worse, there is about a 20% chance of mailing it properly. I would suggest just manipulating sodium, water and carbs too see what he can achieve with that.

I would have him spend a few dollars and sign up on John Meadow's site and read the articles that Scott Stevenson wrote and the final days leading up to show or photo shoot. The template laid out would have to individualized, but EVERYTHING is there.

Side note: I prepped with Scott and was dry as a bone at my last competition and and we didn't use any diuretics.
