are there any clinics that accept insurance? i've looked around and most want the fees upfront.
i work with my local doctor but she is very stict with doses as i guess she has to be and is not open to other ideas, hcg,gh etc....
would like to be above board and get these prescribed but would also like to go through my insurance..
thanks for the help

They might be able to run your meds and blood tests thru your insurance. The doctor is probably gonna want you to pay a quarterly fee for his time. I don't think insurance will cover that. DO you want someone local or are you looking for an online clinic?

i was looking for an online clinic but a more knowledgeable local doc would be great also..
i dont know,my doc put me on testim, ive told them i dont like it and wanted to be put on something injectable but she wouldnt go for it,
ive been trying to get back on track with these blood levels for awhile,i just thought they could be a little more open to other ideas, trying to stay above board but they make it hard to do that.

I think standard practice for most docs is to get you into the middle of the range at most. So that means they aren't going to make the effort to get you to high normal. It's a combination of fear and laziness I think.

Have a buddy doing this through a Detroit clinic. They charged insurance almost $1,800 for blood work and they pay for some of the cost of the "supplements". But he has to pay something like $163 a month for the doctors fee. He told his other Doc and she's ok with everything, but I get the impression from talking to him that she's glad she wasn't the one to prescribe any of it. But she was a.ok. with him taking it. Don't know if that helps at all.

If it is a legit on line clinic, the correct way to get prescibe meds is they will make you get a physical from a local doctor along with bloodwork from a lab. At that time their doctor will look over your profile and prescibe. Check DEA numbers of doctor and pharmacy. This way you will have done everything legit.

I just had a doctors appointment the other day with my doctor. I told him that I have no energy and sex drive and was wondering if HRT may be an option. He said it was controversial because anabolic steroids were involved. Nonetheless he wrote me a prescription to have my HPTA/testosterone levels checked with a blood test. We'll see if he gives me anything yet. I'm about 6 or 7 weeks post cycle now. I wonder if my test levels are still elevated? Should I wait longer to have my bloodwoork done so I won't disqualify myself from hrt?

You would have to be off everything, including supplements that elevate testosterone, HCG for about 4-6 weeks.

My doctor charges 120 per visit and insurance wont cover it. Insurance did cover the blood tests. Also, she sells the test there for 120 a 10mL bottle. So for 10 weeks it costs $240. Although if I get HRT again I will ask for 20 weeks supply per visit.

low testosterone is low testosterone regardless of whether or not steroids are involved. if you have low test, your doctor should treat it. if the doc tries to tell you that you shouldn't get hrt because you use/have used steroids, you can sue the shit out of him. i'm typically very against suing doctors but when they refuse to do their job, its fair game imo.

i just went for bloodwork again last weekend after i complained i didnt feel good and my nipples were killing me,low sex drive etc....
im hoping she will change this therapy around a bit and i can get something other then testim(which i hate)
maybe i will get a copy of the blood work and post it up and see what you guys think,im sure someone has experience with this.

Yeah I've been on Proviron, an otc pct formula and nolvadex. I probably should wait huh?

Sorry to break it to you but you can't sue a doctor because they won't prescribe you something they don't feel comfortable with. What you can do is find a doctor that will. Just to be clear about something though, if you DO have a lower than normal testosterone level, your doctor will do something about it. Maybe its not the 4 vials a month of depot test you hoped he would have prescribed, but he will do something. More than likely he will get you on some kind of andro gel. He could also give you the injections once every two weeks as I know several people in their late 40's that have this done. This is the normal protocol in many cases. It's not the protocol of the fly by night rejuv clinics that will script you out three vials of test at a time with anavar and GH.

I think true HRT for individuals that need it is a great idea. The controversy surrounding all the bad press these places receive is because of doctors that prescribe testosterone and oxymethelone to some 27 year old and then he ends up shooting himself in the chin with a shotgun. I think people get confused when they hear HRT and think "legal scripts for my shit". Real HRT is not anywhere close to what you are taking in the off-season or pre-contest and should rightfully stay that way so when we are done putting our bodies through the rigner, we have an oppritunity to live a normal life. Insurance companies are well aware of this. Everybody knows this and I think in hopes of not having to break the law anymore, look to this way of obtaining their stuff. Once again just my thoughts on the issue.

Your insurance doesn't cover test? I see it on my list of covered drugs, with a copay of course. I'm surprised yours doesn't cover it. Everybody at works complains ours is bottom of the barrel health coverage. My doctors visits are 25 and 50 for the emergency room.
