What are the macros on this one. My opinion, I would take out the parsmesan cheese and put in the low fat cottage cheese for a more healthier choice!

Not a bad idea. I use the tupperware container diet, mix it all together and graze on it throughout the day (every 2hrs or so). In the am I'll mix some Whey Isolate with Oats and Flax seed (not bad this way) with a little honey. Then for dinner I'll usually have some white fish (I like talapia) with brown rice and veggies. I alternate between fish and chicken. On occasion I'll have London Broil cocked on the rare side.

Do you use the egg whites out of a carton or do you use whole eggs and simply throw out the egg yellows?

The whites out of the cartoon. Interestingly enough, most of the nutrients are in the yolk, not the whites, so I also use whole eggs + the yolk.

Cut 'n Paste: The Incredible, Edible Egg Yolk

Egg Nutrition: Yolk vs. White

Egg yolks are indeed full of cholesterol. Like most cholesterol-rich foods, they are jam-packed full of important nutrients, especially the fat-soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids.

In fact, the slew of nutrients in an egg yolk is so comprehensive that a few a day would offer better insurance than a multi-vitamin. Most importantly, the yolk contains most of the nutrients in an egg.

Egg whites, on the other hand, contain far fewer nutrients. The only thing that could justify their consumption is their attachment to their companion yolk.

This recipe is great, thanks for sharing.

I had it the other day and added some chopped carrots as well

Tried it today not bad

Interesting recipe, I'll have to try it soon. I would definitely add the parmesan cheese being that I'm Italian haha.

I use a similar recipe but without cheese and egg whits. Always makes a good meal. Might have to try this one sometime in the next week

you using instant brown rice or no? how longs the rice take to cook when you throw it in the pan with the meat?

yeah I like this - Im a bit confused though - do you cook the vegetables and rice together? Or do you just cook turkey and add already cooked rice + raw vegetables into a tupperware container?

looks great though - going to try this one this weekend

The way i did it was cook the turkey, drain the oil, add the eggs and raw veggies, add the (already cooked) rice.

OP did you do it differently?

I'll ask my wife. She cooks all my meals. That's why I married Asian. :)

Sounds good and I will try it.
I have to take it easy on the veggies though.

sounds like a good and easy recipe.
Thoughts on adding slice slivered almonds or type of nuts?
