My associate director made me the offer today and told me the pay. The pay for this position is non-negotiable, and also due to me not having 3-5 years of supervisor experience as was *required* for the spot, I made out greatly. She said that they're taking into account everything that I have done for the company, which included saving them from losing a 20million dollar a year account that is growing/has grown 36% in the last 9 months and has so much more growth potential..
The pay increase isn't as good as I had hoped, BUT, this is a stepping stone which will better prepare me for the next position I want to be in.
She asked me to think about it this weekend, and let her know Monday if I except it or not...well duh lol, I went through a test, and 3 damn interviews, of course I want it lol.
I am so pumped, this is falling right in place with my goals. When I started there I said I wanted to be a supervisor before I'm there 2 years and I have only been here for 1 year and 4 months. I want to be in another position in the next 2-3 years, not lateral either, I want to keep moving up and I believe I can do it as my goals/thoughts about how things should be ran go right along with what the Director of the center believes and after I did the interview with her, she told me that everything I said, was how she has been thinking of going and it's nice to see someone has given so much thought into how to change so many things.
Things are going so good for me right now, I'm sorry if I'm making to many post about myself, as I'm sure some people may be getting sick of it, but dammit, if you could have seen where I was a few years ago, you'd understand why I'm so happy how things are going now.
I again want to thank everyone that has given me so much support and advice on the board, you have no idea how much I appreciate it.
Sig, Ouch... Thank you 2 the most. I know I'm hard headed about the ladies I date, but thank you, both of your advice has meant so much to me and I needed it so badly at that point in my life. You guys have really helped me improve myself so much over the last 2 1/2 years. thank you.
btw, I think tonight was one of the best workouts I have had in a long time, I did more weighed dips than I ever did before. I'm sure tomorrow I'll be sore as hell, but it was great lol
