I think I've got a national level set of glutes as far as musculature is concerned. Too bad nothing else is, especially my legs! Over the training years I've tried pretty much every leg excercise combo, and its like my ass has been on gear while the rest of me wasn't :/ do you think squats are the main culprit? I do wider stance because I'm pretty tall. Its just so hard to not make squats a mainstay because it seems like no other excercise reaps the same results.
 
Do sissy squats and barbell hack squats. Works for me.

Ya i thought i had a big ass from squats,it turned out i had weak hamstrings.I brought them up and it wasnt as noticable.

Thanks for the great link. I was wondering if you knew how deep Yates went on his smythe squats? I know he said full range on hacks and leg press but there was really no mention of depth on his smythe squats. I would assume in the bucket but wasn't sure.
