1. Find out what prompted this comeback into the bodybuilding spotlight?
2. In depth details on how getting caught up in the fitness industry made him lose his sense of self and very close to losing his family
3. Did Hany really almost kill him? All of the fascia gets stretched in his first public announcement of what really went down and what forced his hand out of bodybuilding.
4. We were close to getting Hany on the phone and making a reunion (but that didn’t happen)
5. Have Seth and Jason Huh been planning this saga and social media takeover for years?
6. Drugs – Seth talks about drugs – everyone’s favorite or least favorite topic
7. What is the All American Ruffneck? Where did that come from?
8. How did he get involved with Prime Nutrition? And some details on how that brand will be shifting its focus in the future.
9. His daughters “callout” to Seth on getting back into bodybuilding. Incredible words of wisdom from an 8 year old girl to her dad.
10. Listener Questions! – A first for Inside Bodybuilding

- When is his next show? And what color trunks will he wear?
- Will he keep the beard?
- Does he think Kevin Jordan trains his legs and back hard enough?
- FMK – Hany – Charles Glass – George Farah
- Will you also be sponsored by Celestial Bodiez and will you be in a full body suit in the near future?
- What is it like to be a stay at home dad?
- How would he rank that infamous leg workout with Levrone?
- Was social media part of his new supplement contract?
- How should family and fans react if a coach truly hurts a bodybuilder with his methods?
- What sex position did he get his wife pregnant?

PLUS 10 Questions:

1. What happened to Trey Brewer?
2. Is Michael Lockett natural?
3. What works better: FST 7 for fascia stretching or copious amounts of fish for its skin thinning capabilities?
4. Would you rather drink the raw sewage from a Port-O-Potty or have sex with Iris Kyle for $1 million dollars?
5. What actors plays you in the movie of your life?
6. Is there such thing as too much growth hormone?
7. Do you know the difference between methylated and alpha alkalated?
8. Who’s going to win the Super Bowl this year?
9. Would you adopt a young Syrian refuge boy?
10. Do you ever sit down to pee?

Wow! That's awesome he's back on the scene, I remember meeting him and he was such a nice guy.

I just went and found him on IG after seeing this and he's def got a Jason Huh vibe haha. Pretty smart and strategic of them if this was all planned for years.. Huh especially has garnered quite the following.

I listened to this the other night on my walk (cardio).

And I thank you Taylor for your ability to keep going back to the pertinent questions that people want to hear about...Matt has a way of going off topic quickly to try to get a laugh, and about 3 times during this interview I saw you go back and ask the right question everyone wanted to hear the answer to.

I dont think an interview has ever been done that showed my own personal reasons of why i think "competitive" onstage bodybuilding is absolutely one of the most stupidest things to do...and that might piss people off but it is what it is.

I came up thru the 90's....it was all about training hardcore, eating to gain with me...this thing was looked at as an athletic endeavor.....and then Momo Bennazizza died when he took diuretics in 92 and tried to limit his water intake by only eating apples. It was freaking shocking to me...Die? From competing? Then another top competitor in the 90's from Indiana (I dont want to name him because he sometimes still competes in masters shows)....went into kidney failure and had to have a kidney transplant....and on and on this has gone on for decades now.

Here is Seth Feroce screaming it out....the guy goes into kidney failure twice before the age of 30 years old. On deaths door for what? Definitely not money. He had to go back to work doing construction etc.

The big picture is this. Unless you are top 3 in the world in this sport or somehow parlay social media into a windfall (rare)...there is no money to be made in this sport in a grand way. And risking kidney failure (among all the other stuff you have to worry about) to get that last film off.....which is going to set you up for serious kidney problems when you are older from the damage you brought around in your 20-30's....is ludicrous in my opinion.

If you read thru the lines you can see the story here...which is this

Jason HUH on phone: "Seth you dont have to even compete, all you have to do is get going social media wise and develop a shtick...mine is the savage shtick....you can be the all american roughneck shtick.....tell people you are picking your spot for you to compete again and then go about making money social media wise...yet never compete."

and I dont blame them one bit for it...not one bit. The more people I see dropping dead, or serious damaging their internal organs from taking risks to be "awesome" onstage...the more i get of the opinion that competitive onstage bodybuilding is freaking stupid. The risk to benefit ratio is paltry.

Good post Dante. Thank you.

I have often told myself that when God gave out muscles,
the other areas might be slighted, like a blessing withheld.

they have taken the shredded things way too far.. what about size, shape, flow? now its shredded or nothing.. its a dieting contest.. limited water intake.. diuretics.. stimulants.. the list goes on.. come in conditioned.. but penalizing a guy because his glutes arent shredded is making many do very drastic procedures.. guys collapsing after shows is too common anymore..

Thank you for the analysis dante and the compliment...matt and I tend to balance it out, I try to be as conscious as possible during interviews and I want to continue to improve. Nothing frustrates me more than hearing an interview that lasts an hour but leaves you wondering still about big topics.

Thank you for the words, and I hope to continue to hone this.

That was a good one. We all wondered what happened to Seth, glad to hear he is ok .

This seems quite prevalent on social media. Whether it's Savage, Alpha, Kill It, 5%, Run Everything, ISYMFS or some other catch phrase, it's marketing, pure and simple. All the while claiming to be the "real." I don't blame any individual for engaging in this behavior for financial ends. But it still seems kind of slimy.

Then again, I'm probably just jealous.

I didn't realise until recently how much money these youtube channels are making...some of these guys are living comfortably off nothing more than making videos. Jason Blaha has about 90k subscribers and said he makes enough to pay his bills and everything just off videos...Piana has over 1/2 million subscribers and it was mentioned he pulls in 6 figures alone from his videos.

Thats pretty cool...I love seeing guys living it up and having a good time doing what they enjoy, its inspirational.

and the dumbest people make the most money. there are some great powerlifting channels that give good info but because they aren't wacky dramatic personalities they get fuck all.

These guys are no dummies thats for sure. There's a former pornstar or something that has a youtube channel that brings in a little over 5mil. And you know what she does? Unwraps and puts together toys. Like kids toys. And all you see is her hands and the toys.

True but those dramatic wacky personalities are entertainers entertaining the YouTube masses.

Most people today would rather watch a Rich Piana video where he's yelling the F word every 2 minutes (really 30 secs lol) and making weird faces while training then listening to someone preach about this or that in a monotone fashion. The view count says it all. Even the ones who don't like this guy or that guy watch their videos to bash them, only to later realize they are contributing to every penny those guys are making.

How are they making money off YouTube? Does youtube pay them for the advertisement prior to there video?

I believe they get paid for the amount of views they get on each video. An ad plays before each video and obviously Youtube gets paid the big bucks to run these ads. They in turn throw a relatively small amount to the people who are responsible for driving people to the ad.

Dumb attracts the dumb. If Dr. Scott Stevenson, or John Meadows made videos about the various intricacies behind setting up a diet, various ways to stimulate growth through intensity techniques, and a comprehensive list of things we need to look out for health wise when bodybuilding; NONE of these videos would get half the views that Rich Piana's 68 Week Cycle does.

As much as I love Pro-muscle, bodybuilding tends to attract the dumbest.

Hey I'd watch the hell out of that! haha but totally true...

Very true. Look at Boston Loyd.
