The things I see Arnold had him on were Like you said a Smaller waist.
He deffinatley seems to be Smarter and speaks better English.

I've always liked the oak. his good points were his biceps and chest.
He did lack legs and always had trouble in the tricep area. Ronnie
just plain big all around but I'll take Arnies biceps over Ron's any day.

Growing up as a kid, looking at Arnold, I always wondered...How can this guys chest be so big and his waist so small! I thought I'd heard his waist was under 30"? like 28" at 230-240lbs? Maybe that's wrong. I can't remember.
His legs were small, and other competitors at the time used to give him hell for it too. Remember he fell on stage and busted his knee really badly. Doctors said he may not be able to walk again without a cain. I really loved Arnolds calves though. Some say he had implants. I don't know. Even when he shrank during his movie days, his calves were still massive. I just saw him in some old movie. Remember the one where he's ex-military and his daughter (alissa milano) get kidnapped? The show a shot of him in shorts and his calves are huge! ha.
Can you tell I'm a huge Arnold fan? hahaha

I've seen this picture many times....You can not compare the 2 though, Arnold is and always will be the BB'er of the past and Ronnie is the present of BB'ing. Someone will come along to be the BB'er of the future,,,There will always be more potent drugs to come out, that will increase man's size to unbelievable degrees, always..........

The only thing about the photo is that it was photoshopped and so we don't really know if the proportions are accurate. But, when I look at these I think, Arnold's chest looks huge. Lots of separation between his abs and pecs. RC's legs look huge! RC has great bicep peak. RC has a really strong looking core and midsection and is thick. I know you can't compare bb's of the past with today's, but its fun to see how bb'ing has progressed.

It definitely has changed. Not sure about the 'progression' though. Is that progress? Is it possible that today we are seeing the absolute limit of what a person can put on a frame? These guys get up to the stage and with AAS and growth, etc., diuretics and all the prep, they're on the verge of death it seems. I remember our Jethro here at ProM cramping up... even when chewing gum?

I think once everyone was satified with what a car COULD do, cars started to become sleeker and more stylish. Perhaps when everyone says "okay now that really is just too much," then things will change from quantity to quality?

I just saw this picture tonight and I realized that Arnold looks 100 times beter than Ronnie. I am a big Coleman fan but Im sorry he isnt even close to Arnolds physique. This picture just makes Ronnie look like he has a beer belly with abbs pasted on top, and diffrent muscles that are extra bagage. Im sorry but new gear now a days or not Arnold is the most genetically gifted person I have ever seen. Just look at his face in the pose he is saying thats right I am a bad ass, read em and weep. Arnold is what bodybuilding is all about this is what I strive for, I dont know about anyone else. To me Arnold is what perfection looks like, and Ronnie is just a chemically engineered freak. (I mean that in a good way)
