I was at a powerlifting meet this weekend with my training partner and when he was benching he forgot to sink his shoulders and messed up his shoulder pretty bad. he can't move it as all and is in constant pain. my training partner is on hormone therapy becuase his body does not naturaly produce testosterone (his netural test count is 70, with injections its about 800). so on the way back home from the meet he asked me if it would be a good idea to do his next injection directly into his shoulder to help it recover, and i don't know if that would help since it seems like it more than just a muscle injury.
do yall think it would help at all if he did his next injection or two (injects every 3 days) directly into his shoulder? or would it just put more pressure on the joint and possibly do more damage?

FUCK NO DON'T DO THAT.......

what the hell rationale could possibly be there??????

I for one GET injuries when i inject quads.....so i can't fathom someone thinking that injecting into an already inflamed and stressed area would help it....

I knew this hombre who injured his pec, not real real bad, but enough to put off training the chest for 4 weeks and obviously very careful with any compound moves. Heard the same thing, now wheres the rational?? i have no idea, but he (not me of course cuz i never touch the stuff) injected into that pec frequently throughout and it "seemed" to help. I cannot scientifically prove anything or even attribute the healing to this, but i will say it didnt seem to hinder it any. If anything kind of put more attention to the healing..?

I even heard of a guy who had knee problems and injected right under his patella youch!!

bump this thread for any more info bcuz i hear of this alot

He is looking for a local effect on healing, and thats not going to happen. Its the same mentality behind spot injecting in an attempt to get a lagging muscle to grow more. The only possible way it might help is if he used test base, as in test suspension, but even that would probably not help. Long ester stuff has no chance. Injecting into the site is just going to cause more swelling and inflamtion and make his problem worse IMO.

Come on guys...

I mean really? Thinking that injecting testosterone, regardless of the ester attached, is gonna heal a localized injury is absurd. The only thing it will do is add to the inflammation, which is exactly what he wants to avoid.

AAS are not wonder drugs, they operate in a pretty straightforward manner, and curing stress/strain/inflammation/articular damage is definitely not one of the applications.

Alternating ice, heat and some anti-inflammatory and then doctor if things don't get better would be a much better route.
