I'm almost thru the first month of my diet and I have a question for you guys (especially Kiwi). It seems to me that if I start taking insulin after my morning cardio that I can consume more carbs while still sticking to my diet since the carbs would be utilized in the muscle due to the insulin. As an example, I'm assuming Kiwi takes his insulin after the morning session so that he can eat more. I workout at 4pm and then do cardio for an hour. I take 12 units of slin after this along with 100g of simple carbs. Would I be better off for fat loss, if I were to stop the slin altogether. Again, it seems to me that by taking slin I can eat a whole lot more since the carbs are being utilized in the muscles and not converted to fat. This also helps (I think) by speeding up the metabolism and curbing appetite by having a full belly. My hypothesis is this. I can build muscle by lifting and consuming protein and carbs, but at the same time burn fat by doing cardio twice a day. How does this sound, and does it make sense? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
