Is Flaxseed Oil Anti-estrogenic?

Hey fellas. A while back Mr Magoo had said that flaxseeds are anti-estrogenic similar to tamoxifen. I'm reading and it says that Lignans are anti-estrogenic.. He says that flaxseeds ground up are anti-estrogenic and not the oil, but i am reading that the oil is also. I take in 2 tbsp per day like i am supposed to do. Is this information true? Thanks.

I use milled flaxseed as I believe anything that's "less processed" is better - and it's MUCH cheaper!

Even if flax has anti-estrogenic qualities, I wouldn't use it as a "substitute" for an anti-e.

The new issue of Flex states that a lot of the fatty acids we take in actually will cause a bit of water retention, in higher doses. So, according to them, they have the exact opposite qualities, only in high doses. Definately not reason enough to discontinue their use in my opinion.
