is there a rebound from adex

is there a rebound worth worrying about ?and if so could proviron be used to counter this ?

recently switched from adex to aromasin and noticed some serious rebound for the first few days even though i overlapped dosing for several days.

There can be rebound but it can all depend on you, each person is different. I was on adex eod but I switch to aromasin because it has so many positive effects. Should not be rebound with aromasin.

I borrowed this:

Aromasin will raise your natural test production and has a favorable affect on Sex Hormone Binding Globulin as well.

Aromasin lowers estrogen blood levels by 80%. Raises test by 60% lowers bad cholesterol and raises good cholesterol along with raising IGF-1 levels...find another aromatrase inhibitor that does this..


In a study, Aromasin had no effect on on the AR and testosterone levels but at a dose of even .5mg, it showed the ability to decrease SHBG and increase LH and FSH.

Also... aromasin dose is not as affected as its primary affinity is for peripheral aromatase (wherein because of tissue affinity, letrozole and arimidex highly suppress glandular estrone synthesis at low doses and more is needed for peripheral aromatase suppression- because of the nature of action as well) -Macro "

"As I posted, Arimidex is better at inhibiting sulfatase than it is E2. Your worry for the most part is E2 (estradiol). Also Arimidex competes with testosterone for the aromatase as a way of inhibiting the conversion you would get from aromatase. Because it competes and leaves the aromatase alive, so when you come off you get a flood of estrogen, or rebound.
Aromasin does not compete. It's suicidal. It attaches to the aromatase and kills it. In doing so it does a much better job of reducing E2 AND there is no rebound when you come off of it because it's killed the aromatase".

Can aromosin hinder gains?

A certain amount of estro is needed to make gains. You cannot and shouldn't stop estro completely. You want to reduce estro not stop it! If you take to much aromasin yes it would. But otherwise it should help with free test.

anastrozole causes rebound, though how much I dont think is very clear and its probably very different across the population. plus dose and how long you have been taking it too, will probably affect extent of rebound effects.

Exemestane is the way to go. highly reccomend Researchstop.com (get empty gel caps, size 000 - you'll thank me)

Yes.

One can get a rebound from steroidal AI's. Arimidex can cause a rebound and so can SERMs.

Aromaisn is the best choice as it attches to the aromotase enzyme and destroys it.

infortunately i simply cannot tolerate exemestane ,i had severe stomach upset to the point i couldnt eat or face moving

did you take it with a high fat meal? try breaking up into 2 or 3 doses?

i did yes ,i tried 12.5mg split into two doses and felt terrible ,i am very susebtible as i have pre existing stomach problems

macro ,i wasnt initially but after reading your posts i did start taking with around 10-15gms fat .
could the high fat meal help with this ?

yes. also taking a calcium supplement (particularly if acidity is an issue).
