use humilin-r and have a carb drink such as a carbo rush or carbo force with glutamine and creatine right after the insulin then within 1 hour have another solid protein meal and a good slow-burn low glycemic complex carb such as the usual yams, ssweet potatoes, baby reds, yellow gold finnish or brown rice! I disagree with Chad in that he like simple sugars that are fairly high glycemically like red apples,banana's,ect.... as he thinks maldextrose is to fast acting althoe true i agree with him there the fact remains it gets into your system right away and assures that you won't go hypo and the use of a good solid complex carb within 1 hour means it will stick with you threu the duration of the half-life of the insulin and the peak half-life for humulin-r is approx. 3-4 hours if i remember correctly. That is what wrks for myself and my client althoe who am i to argue with the master as chad is very well versed in this area and this is just my opinion as we do infact agree on about 99% of eveerything else contest prep related. wyldeone.
