This may be just my lack of experience but I think there were people aesthetically better, although I will admit his condition is awesome and he has made lots of improvements from looking at the pictures. But with Jay, my eyes keep drifting back to his waist and, to me, it is large. I try to not have a biased opinion of any bodybuilder, and I think from the pictures Jay Cutler may have been top 5, but some of the others Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Branch Warren, and Dexter Jackson are awesome and had a legit chance at winning.

No he tried it and then went his own way in training methods. He said it himself in an interview on BobC's radio a while ago.

Also just want to remind everyone awhile back: Dante was 100% sure Jay would come back better than '08, he gave his reasons why he was so sure - I would give the reasons but I don't think they were for everyone to know.

He came in 10 pounds lighter, better color, and has corrected that left to right imbalance between his legs and his arms. He doesn't have a weak body part unlike the others.
