JOINT PAIN??

can anyone suggest something that dulls or gets rid of joint pain for about an hour while i work out that i wont get addicted to?
 
Add deca to you cycles. You can run a regular dose or a maintenance dose around 200mg EW...works well for me. I am running 400 right no with no pain, I love it!

Plus you don't want anything to dull the pain why you lift, easy way to hurt yourself without realizing it!
 
thanks but deca does nothing for my joints at any dose. that whole deca thing must be individual based.

Yeah maybe, works wonders for me. Have you tried Gulsocamine / Chroniditan (sp?), it seemed to work for me awhile back but got kinda pricey to run it an effective dose!

Glucosamine w/ chondriton I think is how it is spelled.....ya I heard this stuff is great for joints. Gh might also be an option...
 
none of the above does anything to block pain at the site so that a pain free workout is possible.

If you are in that much pain, then you should not be working out, something is wrong with the joint (injury) and it needs to heal.
 
I am having some serious joint problems too, specifically the knees and I am not into taking anything that can become "addictive" as I have a serious addictive personality.

Anyways, I have been "off' four goin on four months and am getting ready to use both of what Louis and Ivan mentioned in Dec. I hope that that makes a big difference. Until then I have been using something my mom actually gave me as she has had two kness surguries and practacially no cartilage in it. The product iscalled Celedron which is supposed to wokr very similar to Glucosamine. I just started taking it this week and I will let you know in a couple of weeks whether it has made a dif. but I honestly don't think it will but it is worht a shot, nothing else has worked except real painkillers, which I try not to use anymore.
 
Sounds to me like your either overtraining, using poor form, or have been using heavy isolation exercises to try and build mass..Not good.

i simply asked if anyone had any tips on a DRUG or DRUGS that can block pain for a bit..thats it...no help with my workout or training or diet, or anyyyyyyyyyything else....:rolleyes:
 
maybe its better without any painkiller?

cause the painkiller only take the feeling away, but the injury or damage or what you gonna call it is still there, and it could get worse and then it is good that you can feel it get worse and acknowledge the pain... if you go on painkillers you may not feel when it get worse and then it could turn into a serious injury.
 
What kind of pain do you have? If you dind't injure it (don't remember), it could be that over time the tendons in the joints got tight.
Deep tissue massage does wonders for that.
 
2 aspirin tabs every 8 hours, works wonders, especially with fish oil.
 
I've used Glucosamine in the past for shoulder and elbow pain that was pretty intense when I worked out. It takes a couple of weeks to kick in but use advil or aspirin till it kicks in. hope this helps
 
Big A--no part of me is injured...but the "doctors" here seem to think otherwise. i can still hack squat 7 plates on each side but its my knees that bother me. its been this way since i hit 270lb. before that..no pain at all. since i've hit 270 it seems the extra weight just did something so when i hit my legs the knee joints ache. its like a dull pain..its more annoying than it is painfull.

100% tight tendons. Get deep tissue work, preferably from a qualified chinese deep tissue worker. They will HURT you, but they'll fix the problem.
When I had the exact same thing happening many years back, the one that I saw told me that if he can't fix me in 3 sessions, I can't be fixed (I was so bad, I hadn't squatted in 18 months). After the first session I was able to squat again!
So be ware of the ones that say that you need many months worth of treatment, like all the bullshit physios do. I saw physios for those 18 months, sometimes as much as 3 times a week, and they did nothing!

Hey Big A

Can you give me some more info on how to locate a good Chinese deep tissue provider in the US?

I am not sure of how to look for one? Am I looking for a Chinese holistic doctor or?

I had some pain in the joints and I started using a foam roller and I also started using animal flex and the pain has gone away. Maybe my symptoms were a bit different than yours but why not give it a try.
