I have a funny story that is really pissing me off. I got a ticket the other day while driving in an area that I know really well. This is the second ticket I have ever gotten in my life, I recieved one like 5 years ago when I first got my liscense. Ok, cop was a total asshole, I wasn't sure why he was pulling me over, he comes up to the window and says I was doing 39 in a 30. I told him there was no way the speed limit was 30, I have driven the road a thousand times before and it is 40 mph. He gets all puffy and says, no they changed the speed limit on this road two weeks ago, it is 30 now. I asked him if he could just give me a warning, I didn't know they had changed it, but the asshole gave me a ticket. Total bullshit.
Has anyone ever tried fighting a traffic ticket, it is absolutely insane. You have to go down and sit with all the degenerate reprobates and wait for some judge in dirty robes to get around to hearing your case. So, I don't want to pay the ticket, it's like $80, but it's a matter of principle, I want to have my say. I wait to have my "trial", like I am some criminal. There were two mexicans in front of me, both of them had violations of speeding and failure to stop. The judge dismisses both of the charges against the two guys in front of me. So I am feeling pretty good about my chances to get this dropped. Total dyke this judge, all butch haircut and a lesbian look. I go up to the podium, state my case, she says, no way, you still have to pay the fine. I asked why the two mexicans in front of me were acquitted, she says because they don't speak english and have a tough time understanding the charges leveled against them.
I couldn't believe that shit, so I question her again, saying that the fact that they don't speak english shouldn't influence the court proceedings, that she is ruling impartially to one group of citizens. The dyke threatens to have me arrested in contempt of court. I couldn't believe the nerve of this bitch. She called the baliff over, then hesitated, I smiled, but was a little worried. I was hoping she would have done that, I could have called my attorney, had him there in 5 minutes and gotten that dyke a reprimand. Probably gotten my case dismissed by another judge, but she didn't, I asked why there was no allowance made for dissent in the courtroom, isn't that why the court is there for one to state is opinion regarding the matter at hand. Total garbage, the justice system is no longer an establishment of the people, rather a money making organization that applies the law subjectively and inconsistently. Absolute hypocrites.
