BAD NEWS!

Unfortunately KIWI has been in hospital for the last 36 hours, on an IV drip. He should be released tomorrow morning, hopefully.

It doesn't look like he will be stepping on stage unfortunately.

awwwwwwwww no big A!!! he ok man? hes a legend!! send him my best wishes!! he was one of the main reasons i was going to the show, so its a disappointment, coz hes a real legend, and would have taken the cake. wish him a speedy recovery man. will he still attend the contest??

What is a IV drip? Is BIG KIWI gonna be ok?

Can you share what circumstance put him in the hospital (could help some of us prevent similar situation?)?

Forgot to mention why

He got a really nasty abscess in his thigh. It got worse and worse, despite draining it and anti biotics. He then got sick. Got admited in hospital and was operated on. He had a chunck of his muscle cut out.

Very bad luck - you think it could have happened next week AFTER the comp, not now! Wishing him well.

As far as I know, he will still attend the comp, as his trip is booked and besides, he better come, as after the comp he's flying over to stay with me for a few days, and if he doesn't come, I'll kick his ass!

What is a IV drip?

Intra-Venous drip. Drugs are administered in hospitals this way.
