Letrozole

Whats everyones opinion on using an anti-aromatase(sp) like Letrozole while on a cycle to help control bloat and estrogen related body fat?Do you think it inhibits gains or is that just b.s?

The "gains" that are inhibited are the water retention caused by the androgen conversion to estrogens. As for muscle gain, I don't think that an anti-e has any effect on that.

Some drugs may have an indirect effect on how quickly you gain LBM. This is usually through suppression GH/IGF-1 levels. Letrozole doesn't give ya this problem.

And - letrozole actually increases IGF-1.

Bro I've only seen 1 study on it raising igf-1, do you know if there are anymore? I'd like to read them

do you guys notice any particular side effects from the letrozole itself? also, is it better than arimidex? i am going to use either one, i would like more opinions on which to go for. i know common doses are the same as arimidex, about 1/2 tab ED on moderate to heavy cycles. thanks.

It will kill your sex drive if your dosage is too high. That's not a direct effect actually, but rather from super low estrogen levels... but yeah.

but what if you are taking alot of test, like 750mg-1000mg per week and 50mg proviron per day? isnt your dick always hard or can the let still affect this? i think i just might go with arimidex .5mg ed

I like femara better then arimidex, but I wouldn't go ed with it. If you estrogen is to low not only will you sex drive drop(which happened to me) but your lipid panel will get screwed up as well. I think starting at 1.25 e3d is a good place to start.

I liked it, probably rate it as my number one choice. I used EOD and had no sides and no E related problems either. Simple stuff, cheap, couldn't find any reason not to. IronMike
