I think when I say your a fairly intelligent BB everyone will agree but I don't get the sand in your kidneys from creatine.
Could you please explain becuase that would dictate you'd have something liken to kidney stones which would keep you doubled over, and it could not possibly be from creatine. Do you mean you just can't absorb powered creatine.
I have another comment about the liquid creatine as well. There was some out a few yrs ago called kickass creatine which had a mule on it. It was the biggest pice of shit creatine supplement that hit the market. Studies showed liquid creatine did not maintain stablility and was very quickly destroyed on its way down to the stomach. The other thing was this product was so underdosed it was not even funny.
I like the effervesent that is out now, doesnt give me this shits nor does it make me sick to my stomach. I use creatine quite a bit off cycle up to 40 grams a day I'm an overloader you could say.
I cheked out the link and read some will have to read it again just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.
I think that the main reason some of us have a hard time using creatine is that we use "old generation creatines". Like the one's by EAS and other brands. Just look at the product, it's so thick, it looks like sand or Salt or sugar. In my case this stuff just sits in my stomach and makes me feel sick. For others, they just take too much creatine, which along with a high protein diet, increases the levels of creatinine in the kidneys (this is toxic waste) and may cause some kidney pressure (remember how it feels to take very high doses of EQ ?---that kind of pressure---).
I find that "new generation creatines" are more digestible. So Liquid works well, but what else is in it ? I preffer to use MICRONIZED CREATINE (same as the regular powder , it's just that it is pulverized) easier to mix and digest. My favoryte brand is The HDT micronized creatine.
