'Mega' dosing creatine by Alex Kikel

From what I understand, muscles can only absorb so much creatine, I saw some experiments some time ago on natural exercisers and there was no difference between 10g and ~30g. On the other hand, maybe someone weighing 300lbs would absorb more, due to their huge mass? I haven't seen such an experiment.

Edit: since Luki didn't absorb 30g, I guess it doesn't matter if someone weighs 150 or 300 pounds, they still won't absorb 30g.
 
That guy puts up a reel almost every day of megadosing this supplement or megadosing that supplement, and all these benefits that he’s observed empirically… results I’ve never seen mentioned elsewhere. I suppose he’s the present-day god of original thought…
Yet, if you try to engage him in any kind of conversation or even ask a question, he completely ignores it. I have zero time for this guy. And was somebody tell him, for the love of God, clear your throat before you start recording. Dude sounds like he’s trying to gargle-talk through 15 pounds of phlegm!

When he was on Mark Bells podcast recently he talked of going up to 150 grams a day for some with creatine. And Olympic level people using 30-50 grams. Think it is around the 20 minute mark. Seems a little excessive to me. I upped my creatine recently from my 3 grams a day that i have used for years to closer to 10-15. As i am not eating the 350 grams of protein a day i used to. I have done stupider more risky things so what do i have to loose! Feel free to apply the retarded quote to me. I am hard to offend!

Over 20 years ago Paul Cribb of AST was talking about creatine cycling. 20-25g on a 3 days on, 3 days off protocol. It didn't do anything that 5g a day doesn't do.

All these "famous" people are running out of things to talk about. Megadosing supplements when we've known the optimal dosing of it for 30 years, or talking about how to pyramid your sets that people have been doing for 60 years.
 
According to Alex Kikel, he is training every top athlete in the world, the NFL, Pro bodybuilders, responsible for training the top Olympic champions and getting their gold, etc. Not to mention curing most diseases known to man. He is so full of shit on most things.
 
I think there has been very extensive research - both by countless bodybuilders and actual clinical studies - on creatine, and that there is just no added benefit over 5 gr per day for muscle growth.

But there is a bit that it is really helpful for mental stuff and brain health, like 15-20 gr per day. Especially for brain injuries and diseases. I take 20 gr every day, and I it does help me with lifting brainfog a lot. If I forget taking it for a few days, I feel the fog coming back.

Yes it has cognitive benefits, i believe some people are unaware of. I take 3 grams a day pretty much year around.
