Yup. If I knew then what I know now. It took a lot of years of ballooning up in weight, dieting back down, ballooning up, back down. I have no idea what my bodyfat is but I'm assuming I'm carrying maybe 30lbs of fat which would cost me 50lbs to lose (25lbs fat, 25lbs muscle and water) to get down to a 5 or 6% 200lbs. Which is a big deal. When I sucked enough weight to get to 6% BF 15 yrs ago, I was 175lbs at one point. So that means I gained 25-30lbs of permanent muscle. The Only regret I have is not having any idea how to use aas properly the first 3/4 years of use. I got strong as hell but looked like a bloated mess. And I thought I looked good. Hindsight awe fuck it.
When I look at it that way I don't feel so bad. I was a slacker until I hit 30. 30-40 was my best years for strength and held the midstste record cutting weight to 202lbs for deadlift and squat and 3 lift total which hung on for several years. I won't try that weight now. The years after that was kids, family, remarried, career so everything was a bit off and on. And I never blasted and cruised. I was either off or on.
Like b-boy said, at this stage of my life, I just want to look good naked. Also have good performance. Performance is key. In 20 years, I'm going to be an old man. I only have a few items left in my bucket list and one last blitz is one of those items.
