low dose naltrexone to help prevent testicular shutdown

I have heard that low doses of naltrexone (an opioid antagonist) can help prevent testicular shrinkage and promote a healthy HPTA. This medicine upregulates production of beta-endorphins (possibly up to 400%). Its currently prescribed (off-label) to people with auto-immune diseases. I can't find any references for use with hypogonadism.

Has anybody heard anything else/have any leads in journals about this stuff?

i was thinking of using this during the cycle in conjunction with HCG therapy and in conjunction with clomid during PCT.

im on naltrexone for alcohol cravings and it doesnt do any of the things you guys are saying to me

you are probably taking the 50mg doses?

the naltrexone for this purpose is low dose. 3.5-4.5mg a night (right before bed).

basically the idea is that if you antagonize opioid receptors your brain will respond by upregulating production of beta-endorphins (the natural chemicals that attach to these receptors) because it 'thinks' (pardon me for word usage) that there is less net stimulation of opioid receptors so that must mean some receptors are damaged or being blocked (by the naltrexone). So the end result is temporary net inhibition of opioid receptors but overall net excitation (due to the increase in beta-endorphin production).
