I have eliminated deads and squats for the past couple of weeks due to low back pain. I will keep it up as long as it takes, but really miss them and know they have been vital to what little leg mass I have. What works to keep that tightness from setting in?
I've been stretchin in the mornings and have a couple of rehab exercises I do daily (really just light resitance strecthing) anything else I can try? I know its just soft tissue damage, the spine is fine.
Anyone experiment with taking a mucle relaxer that takes awile to kick in, maybe right before a set of squats of deadlifts? I know my form is good, but when I throw on any moderate weight y back tightens like a vice.
