every time i diet down and get ready for a comp that is the only area that i lose thickness. drives me crazy! i do full deadlifts, front squats so i use my lower back to stabilize and i also do standing push presses on top a full hardcore back workout as follows:
start with chins 4 sets of 10 (just bodywieght)
deadlift 4 sets of 10 (pyramid up to 405)
reverse grip barbell row 3 sets of 10 (pyramid up to 315)
pulldowns behind 3 sets of 10 (pyramid up to the stack)
one arm dumbell rows 3 sets of 10 (pyramid up tp 120's)
i get my thickness up in the offseason but as soon as i stop taking my insulin it freakin just disappears. that is my bodypart that needs to come up so i am chalking it up to building more mature muscle and its just going to take some time unless you guys have any ideas?
