Man do you ever think about the money youve spent on bodybuilding?

I'm 60 years old and been training and doing cycles for over half of my life. Who cares about the money I've spent! This is what I do!!

Exactly. Double standard. Even now as a married man my wife is the bread winner. Nothing wrong with switching roles. In today's world the sexes are supposed to be equal.

Hell yeah! I had a 45 yr old lady take me out on a shopping trip when I was only about 25. Bought a nice leather coat and had dinner at a really nice Italian place. Then it was back to her home for some real fun!

Bodybuilding bears down on all things that make us human:
our moods, the way we see and experience the world, the
way we think, our changing capacities of energy and will and
imagination, our desires, the gift to create, our determination
to live or die, our expectation of the future, our sanity and
our relationships with the people we love and care about.

And how much money we chose to spend on it affects all these
things . . . mostly in a negative fashion.

We face this precariousness of keeping alive and not broke
(money and health) in the triple conflict between madness,

I know bodybuilding has easily cost me 12k a year for the past 4 years between all the food, supplements, etc and that's nothing compared to some guys as Im not even a competitor and I keep my doses very low.

Maybe for rich guys on here its no big deal but shit Im only 25 and while I do well (finally) I don't really have anything to show for it... still saving up to buy a house. I could of easily used that money as a downpayment on a 150k car or a downpayment on a sick condo on the water and I'd be chilling right now. Or even better, took off work traveled the world for a year.

I have no regrets but I'd be lying if I don't wish I could go back in time sometimes and just stayed natty and not spent so much money on everything. For the guys that aren't loaded on here do you ever have this thought in the back of your mind? Sometimes its depressing for me....then I try to look at the bright side and remind myself of all the hot women Ive banged from taking up bodybuilding and that helps the pain a little bit.

I just figured it out and I guess I spend about 7% of my salary on food, PEDs and all. And the food bill is what many of my co-workers spend who don't wok out. But I make a good wage so it doesn't really affect me financially that much.

Bottom line is that nobody is forcing us to do this. If you truly enjoy something, work, save up, blow your money on it.

Very true. $200 would be enough to supply you a year's worth of test or more. The risk involved these days though importing powders outweighs the cost benefit though I think. It sounds like getting through customs these days is much harder. I wouldn't recommend anyone do it now.

Only time I spent what I would consider too much money was when I was young/natural/naive and bought stupid overpriced supplements. Nowadays the Internet even makes those a lot cheaper.

Moved on too less expensive options that actually work.
