Missouri bodybuilders and the Caveman show ???

anyone know what has happened to the Caveman bodybuilding championships in St.Louis ??? that use to be a bigtime NQ show down here..is it going to be promoted or is it canceled for good ???

From my understanding, lester is done with the show for good as of now... and he is trying to sell the copyrights to it. Its been rumoring around for a long time at my gym and alot of those guys arent happy about it

Thats to bad about the show being done for good...It was normally around the late summer (end of July) and I wouldve considered doing it as a warm up show...

I remember that show as being a very competitive one, in fact a very good bodybuilder named Mark Erpelding won it some years back!!! He was a terrific bodybuilder. I think the guest posers are usually top notch as well.

Also, J-bomb and Brad (B-Boy) won that show if I recollect. I competed it several years back as well. Great show...sad to see it go.

Yeah, I heard it was gone for good as well. I competed with Lenny in this show a cpl years back. Always a good show and turn-out...dont know what happend.

the caveman was a good show, I wish lester would continue to run it, that show was always good, hell when my friends came to see me, the competition scared all of them, I would have liked to seen more of my boys compete there back when, but they got punked..LOL

I Know Chad has the Mr Missouri In Springfield. Thats where I met JBomb for the first time..... Its also always in July. Thats the one everyone around here is usually Gunning for.

There were some competitors talking about that show this past weekend at the Mayhem which is in Missouri. But, most them wanted to do the Mayhem due to the timing of it. But, I Mr MO should be a good one too...Chad does a great job with his shows...the Mayhem being one of them as well as the MO. which is in his home town.

There was a great show every year in KC......promoted by Steve Ray, the husband of Tonya Knight. I think they always had a big turnout and many good competitors from Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and obviously Missouri.

Rod Ketchens, Shawn Ray and Roland Kickinger all guest posed there as well!

Yes, that was the very first competition I every competed in as a teen...then went to college! It was the Powershack Classic held at the casino. Yes, Shawn Ray was a frequent guest poser, Roland, Ronnie, and Kevin...the last time that show was held was in 2000. It brought a ton of great competitors, too bad I only did as a teen, college got in the way!
