It seems like there are a lot of MMX fans on here.

For those that compete or train fairly seriously Id like to hear your "routines"

when and how often you incorporate lifting, cardio, odd object lifting, sparring and whatever else your training consisted.

something along the lines of

Monday AM: wts and sprints PM: 2 hours sparring
Tuesday: long run PM: 1 hour bags

etc...
 
I read that Iceman uses CrossFit in his training.

You might get some good info on sherdog and going to some of the athlete's websites.
 
as far as getting into fight cardio shape, there is a good routine by Bas Rutten. There are different CD's where he calls out combinations and you shadow box, hit a heavy bag or spar when he calls out the combo. they go in rounds. they have different versions that come in the set. The versions are boxing, thai boxing, mma, or all round workout. They are tough.
The mixed martial arts routine has you throw punching combo's and kicks and knee's...but the hard part is when he says "defense" you must sprawl. Then pop back up and throw the combo's. I love it.
