More endurance needed for marathon !!

No its not for me !!

I've got a very close femal friend that is into triathalons and such and she is training for her first all out marathon , she called me asking about what she could take or do to increase her endurance and reduce sorness. She took HGH 4 years ago for 6 months when she got into working out and hit a wall so she tried it and dropped alot of BF% and toned up very well. She asked if that would be a good thing to take again to maybe increase her endurance and reduce her sorness.
I'm not sure that HGH is good for that so I told her that I'd ask around as I get tired and sore from driving 26 miles !!

She has been making steady gains in distance but for the last 5 weeks she is spent at 17 miles , even tried eating several more "bars" while running.

My thought would be maybe low dse EQ to up her blood volume , I've also been told that 4 tablespoons of applecider viniger is good for reducing soreness and such.

Anybody out their have any ideas or info for this type of training>
 
she needs to work up the miles with lighter running days in between. i would not recommend anything that could add muscle mass or affect joints. food days out and leading up to a run need to be very precise too. i can't think of what sort of substance (if any) she might want as i am not sure what wall she is hitting (would food changes and training alone do, would epo, etc help?).
 
lactic acid

Lactic acid build up during running is a crucial factor for me in when I must stop. I would suggest a supplement to increase her levels of lactic acid so that the body becomes more efficient at clearing it. Run it during training for several weeks. Then stop the supplement to allow the body to run at a "reduced load". Low to mid dose HGH (> 2iu/day) I think would help...how old is she?
The EQ for increased RBC is also good.
 
Guys I used to work with a long long time ago I would always focus on the before during and after nutrition. Make sure every 30 min she is eating ....we used to like cliff gels because they had mct oil it um....but almost everyone that did protein complex carbs hour before and ate during and all the way thru had really good results.
 
endurance athletes and doping

Aside from EPO, I know Dec is very popular for the increase in RBC and for increased recovery time. Not sure for women.

maybe running a marathon is not for her if you are thinking she needs synthetic male sex hormones to complete one HA :D
 
eq is good, i used it when i road raced bikes. she should do interval training also. try baking soda, it works somewhat, but she just needs to put in the miles.
