I went down to Tampa recently to look for some investment property. So far so good, but Tampa is not really where I want to live, but it is perfect for investment.

I have heard that Sarasota is beautiful,Naples,Ft Myers etc.More quiet then the bigger cities.I guess what Im asking for is where would the Baldnazi be happy?I need a nice area, close to the Gulf since I love the ocean.Quiet, good people, good schools.Just somewhere really nice.

So you Florida guys, where should I look?

Florida

Largo, by St.Pete ( Lot of retirees ) Good place to invest...

I live just a couple hours away from destin, Fl which to me is beautiful. The beaches are white, perfect blue water and the beaches are clean. The resteraunts in destin are nice and people are friendly, only times you wounldnt be happy there is spring break when all the lil whiggers come down to the beach bumpin their loud ass music, but hey then you would also have college girls comin down to destin too!! so it kinda evens out.

..

the area that just got destroyed by the hurricane...

port charlotte or punta gorda...

i lived 10min north in northport but it was more rural...10min drive n or s and it was great...

ft.meyers sucks...

still lots of on water property avail too...you can build super cheap as well..

I am in venice , which 20 miles south of sarasota and 10 minutes north of north port . I am here for a few months and its really nice. I went to high school here and I always enjoyed my time.

i have an apartment in tampa, but the famnily owns a home on the intercoastal in Punta Gorda... YIKES!!! as far as investment property goes punta gorda, NORTH fort myers, venice, parts of North Port, and of course sarasota are veritable gold mines for patient investors. lemme know if your seriously interested in property i can give you more detailed information.

as far as living in an area, the florida "sun" coast is a basically a pit stop to heaven in terms of ages brackets. on the up side this leads to areas that are quiet well mantained and consistantly upgarded to entice the next group of yuppie northerners to come die there. ;) i would strongly recommend punta gorda, you have access to FT. Myers night life with a glimspe of bars and clubs in the town.

JUST REMEMBER!!! almost as SOON as you leave the coast or intercoastal on the gulf coast, and i mean as soon as 10 to 15 miles inland, you are going to the country, and i mean country. Swamp buggies and trailers as far as the eye can see. not that i have anything against that, to each his own, but it certainly is a change for the coastal ways. so if the real estate agent starts gives you qoutes on 5 acres just 15 miles of the coast for 35,000 RUN!!! we own a little less then half acre on the intercoastal and the lot next to us is oging for $335,000....big difference 15 miles makes.... good luck and lemme know if you need anymore info.

Maverick - my parents and grandparents live in Venice and my uncle's live in Nokomis, all nice quiet areas. Been going there 1-2 times a year since I was a kid. Shit maybe next time I'm down there we can hit the gym?! Never knew anybody down there lifted.

BN - yeah, its a nice area, and cheap. Esp. compared to where I am, just outside of NYC. And BTW, I'm stunned that you're wanting to leave the filth of NYC for other parts, you're gonna be a superfreak out there bro.

Destin is beautiful, Ft-Walton is nice, Panama Beach is a lots of fun...What are you looking for?
I Lived in Destin for a while while repping for a pharmaceutical company. It was special.

You can't go wrong with oceanfront property anywhere in FL. The gulf coast is beautiful. I lived on Marco Island for a a while years ago before it was over developed. Basically did nothing but fish and hung out on the beach. Man, it was great.
Just stay away from the Miami/ Ft.Lauderdale area...It's gotten overcrowded and is slowly turning into a cesspool(sp?) IMO...

Destin, Pamama City, Cedar Key, they call some of that the redneck Rivera LOL you can't go wrong on the coast of Fla.

Baldnazi you cant leave. You ARE NewYork. :D

If I were to move Id go to either FL, SoCal, or AZ. Probably FL-same coast and cheap real estate.

Oh... no no no!

Bald, bro.. you cant move to Florida!
All those retired fuckers wont know how to handle a straight up NEW YORK hardcore fucker like you.

You need to stay in NYC .... You are NYC.

BTW... dont go to fucking Miami, its the CAPITAL of gay men. Not a place for you!

Your bro,
JJ Insane1

wondering...

Which parts are worse, and which are more free of the hurricanes and severe weather?

LOL

You right I am NY.Ask Damage or Tbonus, they heard my Brooklyn accent on the phone haha. But it really wears on you.Way too much stress, and wanting to smash people every fucking day is not healthy.I just want to go somewhere quiet.Where if I want to party or meet chicks,I just drive to South Beach or whatever.Your right JJ, SouthBeach is full of fags, but its also full of totally hot broads.I have been there many times and I love it.Not to live, but definetly to have fun.

Thats why Im thinking the Gulf Coast is a safe bet.Clean, not as humid, alot of transplanted Italians from NY/NJ and good old white folk from the midwest.I will look into everybodys suggestions.I just really want to get the hell out of here,Im tired of it.Any other ideas, pass them my way. Thanks brothers...

hahaa...BaldNazi and Southwest Florida just doesn't sound right. Your too hard core for Florida. I like it in Florida but I couldn't live on the west coast. Only problem I am having now is a category 4 hurricane coming directly for me. Makes for some nice surf but not if it hits your city. I think your best bet is Tampa IMO. I may not have a home by this weekend if this storm stays on the predicted path. FUCK, lived here for 20 years and never been hit. Hopefully this fucker will turn more north. This ones gonna be a monster too.

BN if you need info on Miami, Ft lauderdale area pm me!

BN I have lived down here since 96 since I left NJ. I had alot of new experiences and women since then. But we are about to get hit by a bad hurricane. So the goods do outway the bads. But what the hell am I talking about I am recently divorced and already living with my new girl. But there are tons of clubs down here "IF you like that scene" most of which in Ft lauderdale I have worked at or had some kind of buisness aspect with your set. I know thats not you but there are many dark berries down hear trust me i know.
Good luck
Rone

Miami

I grew up in Miami and I've hung out everywhere in FL, and I had a lot of fun in Tampa. Why not just live there? Or even Orlando where Coco Beach aint too far? The rest of the places like Naples and Sarasota althought they are great summer spots to kick back and relax are kinda slow and I dont think you'd enjoy that pace. But hey like JJ said, there always South Beach and all the gay men you'd want. J/K bro.

Me I'd move to Tampa

Good schools?

Bald Nazi looking for good schools? What's going on? - CH

I just got back from clearwater beach and I liked it there alot did you think about that.
