If you want to find a good doctor, take insurance out of the equation. Sure there is a time and place for it, but also can dictate or limit care.

Paying the “right” PCP $100-$200 cash pay per visit is worth the investment IMO. Many of the best docs aren’t billing insurance for nickels on the dollar. They’re getting patients better.

Either way I’d find anyone but the guy you’re working with now. The local urgent care MD or NP would give better care it seems.

** FINDINGS **:
PANCREAS: Normal visualized portions.

LIVER: Mixed echotexture 4.6 cm diameter mass in the right lobe demonstrating both hypoechoic and hyperechoic regions. Blood flow is seen at the periphery of the lesion but not definitively inside the lesion.

Similar appearing, more homogeneously hyperechoic 16 mm lesion located just deep to the anterior liver capsule.

Nearly homogeneously hyperechoic 9 mm lesion close to the liver dome. Normal hepatopetal flow in the main portal vein.


GALLBLADDER: Normal.

BILE DUCTS: Common duct measures 4.0,3.8,3.9 mm, which is normal. No intrahepatic biliary ductal dilation.
