Cool you got to that that. I just got to sit and watch . . . and drool. That was
in 1977, at Golds in Santa Monica where I trained and hung out for two weeks
prior to the AAU Mr. America. (No, I was not a competitor and could never be
thought to resemble one). I think I have said this before, probably the most
'beautiful' male physique I have seen. And he trained like all the articles written
about him said he did and like Pesty said.
IMO high volume is overkill for the non genetically gifted. Also, there are other variables. Like my current evolution of training is 3 sets per exercise wirh what i guess you could call moderate volume but I keep the same weight through out with same rep range only trying to hit failure on the final set. Also loading/deloading are other variables
