High dose?

It would be interesting to know what the article means by "high dose." They use this term several times without defining it in any numeric way. Would this be 10X the RDA? 50X? 100X?

A lot of the "mouse studies" have researchers dosing these poor mice with hundreds of times the dose for their bodyweight than a human would ever take based upon human bodyweight.

I read this thick-ass book - seems like in the 70's or early 80's by Dirk Pearson and Sandy Shaw. He was a BIG proponant of mega-dosing all kinds of vitamins. I don't know how he convinced me, but the book did - probably 'cause I was still a liberal back then

This guy was like a tall, SKINNY Hippy. He talked about taking doses of L-Dopa to increase muscle mass. He had pictures of himself in his underwear that did nothing but to convince me he didn't know what muscle mass was - LOL!

What will they discover next?!?!

you know what im so sick of all the test and media bullshit
the bottom line is they dont fuckin know any better than the rest of us what works for one might not work for another you might test things on people and get a conclusion but not know that your test subjects have a predisposition to somethin then have another group that have a completely different reaction
you know one day an apple is good for you the next day it gives you cancer all that stupid shit i dont know what works and what doesnt i just try to do the best with what i got and learn some from others experience but it doesnt mean i will you know we all have different genes and things that run in the family tree
i may never smoke a day in my life but die of cancer hhhhmm was it the apple, the juice, the 2nd hand smoke, the wife, the supplements, god only knows. for every study that says one thing there is another group that has a study that contradicts the other study ok enough ranting for now i am just sick of all the stupid shit they put out in articles and the news .

you know what i cannot figure out, they ban ephdra, and claim that thier will probably be other bans soon, but on what!!? bitter orange extract i knwo is a bit toxic maybe that in some of ABB drinks, but common what creatine ban? i canno think of anything else OTC they would try to get rid of besides pro hormones.
