O/T Anyone know these symptoms

My dad is 61years old and told me lately he has been noticing a salty taste in his mouth periodically and when he blinks his right eye doesnt always close all the way. He's gonna make a dr appt next week but I figured i'd ask if anyone happened to know what those symtomps could be,etc...Thanks guys.

the salty taste, does it go together with being constantly thirsty?

he might have had a small stroke or something like Bell's palsy

Wish I could help but have no clue.
Have your tried to google those symptoms to see what you come up with?
Please let us know what they find out.

Read up on Bell's Palsy. Not saying this is it. Hopefully it's not. But salty taste in the mouth and partial facial paralysis are symptoms. Red dots on the end of the tongue are fairly typical too. He should definitely see a doctor about this regardless of whether it lessens or not.
