I will have a relatively heavy semester in school this fall and the restaurant business is not conducive to me being successful in classes. You know the whole going to bed at 5 AM and having an 8 AM class thing. So I figure there really has only been 2 things that have been in my life for most of it. The gym and music. And seeing as how I would like to get paid for my hobby I would eventually like to open a gym but in the mean time get started in the industrry full time.
Now here's the real question. If I need to make a minimum of $780 a week take home, what should I look into? Working at a vitamen shoppe as a manager, a gym???? From what I understand in my area trainers don't make much and there's a lot of down time before a client base is built that can support you. For you guys and girls in the industry, what do you think would be a good move.
Just for reference to manage the restaurant I make $17 an hour and put in around 60+ hours a week. thats about 50 - 60% below national average for an assistant general manager let alone a general manager.
Oh I forgot the school thing, I got into a program for a Doctor of Physical Therapy and am going into my second semester in the summer. so theres that too.
