Seems as if alot of people in TENN. arent happy I think its a good move for him seeing is he coached under Carrol.

I think its a tough move for him. USC might be getting some NCAA sanctions and it could hurt them for a few years. If he can weather the storm and get through it and still stay competetive, I think he'll be ok. I don't think it was a overwhelming desire to coach the Seahawks that drew Carrol away from USC. I think its because he knew he was going to be losing scholarships and having to try and recruit handicapped because of it

i think lane kiffin is an awesome coach for west coast kids. when i was in HS, all we could talk about was pete carroll and USC out here in the west coast. all of us knew it was a matter of time before lane went back to the west coast, he is a west coast guy with an LA personality(you would know what i mean if u were from the west coast).

This was all designed for lane to take over, he just had to build a resume. he played at fresno state and all his recruiting ties are on the west coast.

Lane left USC to coach the Raiders...at that time, Oakland was the only NFL team that interviewed him. He didn't do real well at TN and was making false accusations regarding FL recruiting violations, when there were none. Of course, then he gets slapped for doing crap. I think TN will be better off w/o Kiff.

coach kiffin is a cali boy to the heart. the folks in the south would never accept him because he likes to stir up drama to make headlines, and thats very LA LA land type. the kids love him and thats all that matters when ur trying to win games..........its the reason fulmer was fired, kids hate him.
