I had been using Flax oil. Costs about $25 32oz proteinfactory.com
I participated in a post where Phil Hernon said that Flax is high in lineolic acid which can become prostaglandins, which can possibly
have negative effects (cancerous growths) in theory.
So I got some safflower oil, found it was also high in lineolic acid;
Canola oils seem the best, lower in lineolic and very high in Omega3 EFAs, which will negate the effects of the lineoic acids.
I mix the stuff with my shakes-great for extra calories, especially when staying low carb! And the Safflower oil was $3.50 32oz in the grocery store! Canola is probably just as cheap!
Any suggestions or thoughts?
