Olive Oil

I wanted to add this to my diet regimen. Is there a particular brand thats the best or is all Olive Oil pretty much the same?
 
as an Italian, I must speak up...LOL I use Bertolli, the brand depends on the taste you want, that's it. but then there's virgin and extra virgin and on and on, I like em slutty!
 
Extra virgin, cold processed, in an amber or darkened containor (not clear)--Olive oil left in a clear containor in the light can go rancid quick--I would suggest using it during a protein fat meal (something like a protein shake with olive oil and then some cooked eggs or steak or hamburger patty) (you know what i mean)

Its 118cals per tablespoon has tremendous heart and health benefits also

BTW take a look at avocado oil, he has a very high flash point which makes useful for cooking.

BTW Ive been pimping avocado's like green tea but its not quite catching on. I guess cost and availability is playing a role in this.

Just make sure you don't take too much too fast.

Wonder how many tablespoons per day one could handle without issues?
 
i can handle about 6-9 table spoons a day when bulking...

but im' shitting about 4-6 times a day too....

my butt sometimes bleeds when i wipe....

but that happens even without the olive oil so i guess its normal...
 
what exactly you doing with those pickels?
 
i eat 7-9 times a day, depending on if i have to get up early or whatnot....

food goes in, food comes out...

its like a conveyor belt... there's no room in there.... new food pushed old out with half an hour of eating....

its like clockwork

Is there a big difference between the 'normal' and the 'extra light' ??? (I imagine there is)
 
The major differenced is flavor. Extra Light has almost no flvor at all while Virgin has a full bodied flavor, good for salad dressing and marinades.

Also check out California Grapeseed Oil. Even higher flash point than Avocado with similar fat profiles. I use all three.

Flash point means you can get the oil hotter with out it burning, great for getting those cast iron skillets smoking hot for a crispy steak with a juicy inside. Use Kosher Salt!
 
I was up to 12 tbsp per day while trying to get 4000 cals.

Now I am trying to lower that and replace them with a bit more carbs...
